Irakli Elashvili
More than twenty years across management consulting and banking — general manager and consultant at PA Consulting Group, banker at Barclays and BNP Paribas in London, Chief Executive of TBC Capital in Georgia, and Advisor to the CEO at Nikoil Bank in Azerbaijan.
He advised on the World Bank's pension reforms in Georgia and Egypt, and most recently led the turnaround and sale of FINCA Bank Georgia as its Chief Executive. He has led market-leading capital markets transactions across Georgia, the UK, eastern and western Europe and Azerbaijan.
MBA, London Business School. He heads the firm's corporate finance practice and oversees its debt capital markets business, leading client relationships and mandate origination.
Levan Tsutsunava
More than twenty years in international banking, with deep experience in trading, risk management and general management. He began in market risk and led teams at ABN AMRO and the Royal Bank of Scotland across Amsterdam, New York and London.
He then joined ING Bank in Amsterdam as a senior FX options trader, running the Japanese Yen book, an SME portfolio and complex FX derivatives. Prior to founding the firm, he headed Treasury and Financial Services at TBC Bank.
He is a managing partner and currently runs the firm's day-to-day operations.
Levan Gvilava
More than fourteen years across investment banking, project finance, risk management and audit. At Alpha Capital Advisory he runs the execution of debt capital markets placements, from structuring and documentation through to distribution. Before joining the firm he was an auditor at KPMG, an investment banker and later VP of Debt Capital Markets at TBC Capital, a Senior Investment Risk Analyst at the Pension Fund of Georgia, and an Associate Banker at the EBRD.
At TBC Capital, where he rose to lead the debt capital markets desk, he arranged local bonds and Eurobonds for Georgia's leading corporate issuers, among them Silknet, Tegeta Motors, Nikora and TBC Leasing, as well as for IFIs such as the EBRD, ADB, FMO and BSTDB. These instruments ranged from senior secured to deeply subordinated perpetual notes. At the EBRD he covered renewable energy lending in Georgia and Armenia.
